description
MOUNTING DEVICE FOR MOUNTING RECEIVING RAILS FOR LAMPS The invention relates to a mounting device for holding mounting rails during the mounting of the mounting rails on a suspended wall or ceiling.
Conventionally, recessed lights for suspended ceilings and walls are attached directly to a section of the suspended ceiling or wall. The drywaller must first prepare a cutout in which the electrician then assembles the lamp. Then the drywaller must plaster the luminaire flush with the surface. This solution is not only complex because the two trades have to interlock, but also tends to crack.
[0003] Document WO 2014/020015 A1 shows such an assembly system.
To overcome the difficulties mentioned above, a novel mounting system for thermally decoupled mounting of lights has been developed. The new mounting system uses mounting rails which are mounted at a defined distance on a cut-out in a suspended ceiling or wall. The mounting rails are preferably plastered up to a plaster edge. The electrician can now insert lights directly into the mounting rails prepared in this way without the drywall operator having to do anything. Further rework by the drywall builder is not necessary. There is also a good thermal separation of the luminaire from the suspended wall or ceiling, since there can be a distance between the mounting rails and the edge of the cutout.
However, the mounting of the mounting rails has so far been very complex, since an exactly parallel course at a defined distance in the correct orientation is necessary in order to be able to install the lights, which can be from different manufacturers, without problems. So far, it has been necessary for the drywall installer to use the mounting rails with great precision and to connect them to the suspended ceiling or wall. This requires a lot of work and at the same time tends to create errors that make it impossible to install the lights later.
The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a mounting device which enables simple and time-saving mounting of the mounting rails.
The object is achieved for the device by the features of the independent claims. Advantageous further developments are the subject of the dependent claims referring back to this.
A mounting device according to the invention for mounting mounting rails for luminaire housings on cutouts from suspended walls or ceilings includes a substantially rigid frame and connected to a first receptacle for holding a first mounting rail, and a second receptacle for mounting a second mounting rail. The receptacles are designed to hold the receptacle rails parallel to one another and to keep them at a defined distance from one another. This ensures that during the assembly of the mounting rails, the drywall construction engineer does not have to pay attention to the parallelism of the mounting rails and the spacing of the mounting rails. A very simple and quick assembly of the mounting rails is achieved.
The receptacles are preferably designed to hold the receptacle rail individually and / or jointly detachably, preferably detachably with one hand. This ensures that assembly is further simplified.
Additionally or alternatively, the receptacles are designed to hold the receptacle rails in the longitudinal direction relative to the mounting device. It is thereby achieved that the mutual arrangement of the mounting rails in the longitudinal direction can be adjusted with very high precision.

Patent Office [0011] Additionally or alternatively, the receptacles are designed to hold the receptacle rails in a defined orientation about their respective longitudinal axes. A particularly reliable alignment of the mounting rails is thus achieved.
Preferably, the mounting device is designed for mounting substantially L-shaped mounting rails, each of which has a first leg for mounting on an underside of the suspended ceiling or a front of the suspended wall and a second leg for engaging in the cutout and for carrying have the lamp housing. In this case, the receptacles are designed to hold the receptacle rails in such a way that the first legs run in one plane and the second legs run parallel. This ensures that the mounting rails can be installed very easily and that the luminaire housing can be used very easily later.
Preferably, the receptacles each have a first guide profile for receiving a first profile of the respective mounting rail, preferably for receiving the profile of the second leg of the mounting rails. The first guide profiles can be provided flexibly or resiliently and can be connected to the rigid frame in particular via resilient arms. A particularly secure mounting of the mounting rails by the mounting device is guaranteed. In addition, the guide profile can simply be snapped into the profile of the mounting rail.
Preferably, the receptacles each have a second guide profile for receiving a second profile of the respective mounting rail, preferably for receiving a plastering edge of the mounting rails. The second guide profiles are preferably rigid and in particular are provided integrally with the rigid frame, preferably in wings extending laterally away from the frame. The wings can also preferably be designed such that, when the receiving rail is inserted, they are in flat contact with the receiving rail, in particular with the first legs thereof. A further improvement in the security of the holder is thus achieved. In addition, due to the corresponding elements and due to the rigid frame, a predetermined distance between two mounting rails is ensured in a simple manner. In particular in connection with the preferably flexibly provided first guide profiling, the receiving rail (s) can thus be clamped between the two receptacles in a simple manner and thus aligned in a predetermined manner. For this purpose, the first guide profiles are preferably essentially opposite the second guide profiles and face one another in order to be able to clamp the mounting rails between them by means of the guide profiles. The guide profiles are designed in such a way that they serve as a guide for sliding the mounting device along in the longitudinal direction of the mounting rails together with the corresponding elements on the side of the mounting rails.
The mounting device may further comprise a handle for holding the mounting device, which is preferably connected to the rigid frame. According to one embodiment, this handle can be connected directly to the frame by means of resilient legs or to the rigid frame via the first guide profiles. In the latter case, it is also possible to operate the first guide profiles by means of the handle, that is to pivot the first guide elements inwards (towards one another) and thus to expose them for inserting or removing the mounting device.
The receptacles are preferably designed to simultaneously hold two receptacle rails adjoining one another in the longitudinal direction in alignment with one another. Particularly when a plurality of adjoining mounting rails are installed in a common cutout of the suspended ceiling or suspended wall, a particularly high alignment accuracy is thus achieved.
Preferably, the receptacles are designed to receive a mounting rail not yet mounted on the suspended ceiling or suspended wall, and to accommodate a mounting rail already mounted on the suspended ceiling or suspended wall and one not yet attached to the suspended ceiling or Suspended wall-mounted mount2 / 11

track record. So the drywaller can choose between two different installation options. In the first option, he first connects both mounting rails to the mounting device and inserts the mounting rails connected in this way into the cutout of the suspended wall or ceiling, in order then to connect them to the suspended wall or suspended ceiling. In the second alternative, the drywaller first mounts one of the mounting rails on the suspended wall or ceiling in the area of the cutout and then inserts the mounting device into the mounting rail that has already been installed. Another mounting rail is then inserted into the second mounting of the mounting device. This second mounting rail can now be connected to the suspended wall or suspended ceiling. A particularly high degree of assembly flexibility is achieved in this way.
The assembly device is preferably made in one piece. Additionally or alternatively, the assembly device is manufactured as a stamped sheet metal or as a metal injection molded part or as a plastic injection molded part. In this way, a particularly simple and cost-saving production is achieved.
The mounting device according to the invention is particularly advantageous since, due to the precise positioning, it is not necessary for the second leg of the mounting rails to bear against the edges of the respective cutout. A particularly good thermal separation of the mounting rails from the edges of the suspended ceiling or edge can be achieved in this way.
A mounting system according to the invention has a previously described mounting device and at least two mounting rails. A particularly simple assembly of the mounting rails and later inclusion of lights is guaranteed.
Preferably, the mounting system has a first mounting device described above and a second mounting device described above and at least two mounting rails. The first mounting device and the second mounting device are designed to simultaneously hold the mounting rails in different positions (for example, one end of the mounting rails each) and to be arranged displaceably along the longitudinal direction of the mounting rails. This ensures that particularly precise alignment and positioning of the mounting rails is achieved.
The invention is described by way of example with reference to the drawing, in which an advantageous embodiment of the invention is shown. The drawing shows:
Fig. 1 is a three-dimensional view of a first embodiment of the mounting device according to the invention;
2 shows a side view of a second exemplary embodiment of the mounting device according to the invention, and [0025] FIG. 3 shows a top view of a third exemplary embodiment of the mounting device according to the invention.
1-3, the structure and functioning of various exemplary embodiments of the mounting device according to the invention are discussed in detail below. Identical elements were sometimes not repeatedly shown and described in similar illustrations.
In Fig. 1, a first embodiment of the mounting device 1 for mounting mounting rails 4a, 4b is shown. An assembly of the mounting rails 4a, 4b on a suspended ceiling is shown here. Of course, an identical installation on a suspended wall is also possible. The mounting rails 4a, 4b are attached to the side edges of a cutout 3 of the suspended ceiling and delimit the cutout 3.
Each of the two mounting rails 4a, 4b has a first leg 5a, 5b, which is attached to the suspended ceiling parallel to the underside of the suspended ceiling

Patent office. In addition, each mounting rail 4a, 4b has a second leg 6a, 6b, which is arranged at a 90 ° angle with respect to the first leg 5a, 5b and engages in the cutout 3. The second legs 6a, 6b are intended to carry the lamp housing to be mounted in the cutout 3.
The mounting rails 4a, 4b also have plastering edges 8a, 8b, which separate the first leg 5a, 5b from the second leg 6a, 6b. The plastering edges 8a, 8b are used for plastering the mounting rails 4a, 4b flush with the underside of the suspended ceiling.
In addition, an embodiment of the mounting device 1 according to the invention is shown in Fig. 1. The mounting device 1 has receptacles 2a, 2b which serve to hold the receptacle rails 4a, 4b. The receiving rails 4a, 4b are held parallel to each other and at a defined distance from the receptacles 2a, 2b of the mounting device 1. It is thus very easily possible to mount the mounting rails 4a, 4b on the edges of the cutout 3 while they are held in the correct position and orientation by the mounting device 1.
In particular, the receiving rails 4a, 4b are held by the receptacles 2a, 2b in a defined orientation about their respective longitudinal axes.
That is, the mounting rails 4a, 4b are held so that their respective second legs 6a, 6b engage in cutout 3, while their respective first legs 5a, 5b come to lie parallel in one plane with the underside of the suspended ceiling.
Preferably, the receiving rails 4a, 4b are held by the receptacles 2a, 2b individually or collectively, in particular releasably with one hand. It is thus achieved that the fitter can connect the mounting rails 4a, 4b individually or together very easily to the mounting device 1 and can also separate them from the mounting device 1 again. In particular, the one-handed releasability significantly simplifies the workflow, since the second hand of the fitter is thus available for tool use.
The receptacles 2a, 2b each have a first guide profile 12a, 12b, which is designed to engage in profiles of the second legs 6a, 6b of the receiving rails 4a, 4b and thus to hold them. For this purpose, the first guide profile 12a, 12b is preferably provided flexibly or resiliently, for example by being connected to the rigid frame 15 of the assembly device 1 via resilient arms 16a, 16b, 17a, 17b (see FIG. 3). In addition, the receptacles 2a, 2b have second guide profiles 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b, which serve to receive the plastering edge 8a, 8b of the receptacle rails 4a, 4b. For this purpose, the second guide profile 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b is preferably provided in a rigid manner, for example by providing the wings 18a, 18b (see FIG. 2) that are integral with the rigid frame 15 and preferably extend laterally away from the frame 15. The wings 18a, 18b are designed in such a way that when the mounting rail 4a, 4b is inserted, they are in flat contact with the mounting rail 4a, 4b or the first legs 5a, 5b thereof. In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the second guide profiles 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b are present twice in each receptacle 2a, 2b. The guide profiles 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b are all designed such that they serve as a guide for sliding along the mounting device 1 in the longitudinal direction of the mounting rails 4a, 4b together with the corresponding elements on the side of the mounting rails 4a, 4b. The first guide profiles 12a, 12b essentially oppose the second guide profiles 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b and face each other. By means of the guide profiles 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b, the mounting rails 4a, 4b can thus be clamped in between.
By mounting the mounting rails 4a, 4b through the guide profiles 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b of the receptacles 2a, 2b of the mounting device 1 is a secure, easy detachable and largely stable mounting of the mounting rails 4a, 4b during Assembly process ensured.

AT16 284U1 2019-05-15 Austrian
Patent Office [0036] If a particularly long section 3 is to be provided with mounting rails 4a, 4b with the aid of the mounting device according to the invention, it may be necessary to attach a plurality of mounting rails 4a, 4b to one another in the longitudinal direction. In this case, the mounting device 1 is designed to hold two mounting rails 4a, 4b, and thus a total of four mounting rails 4a, 4b, directly next to one another with each mounting 2a, 2b. In this way, a particularly high degree of alignment accuracy is ensured at the point where alternating mounting rails 4a, 4b adjoin one another.
For the assembly of the mounting rails 4a, 4b, the fitter has several options. On the one hand, he can connect two not yet mounted mounting rails 4a, 4b to the mounting 2a, 2b of the mounting device 1 and insert the mounting rails 4a, 4b connected in this way into the cutout 3. He can now connect both mounting rails to the edges of cutout 3 at the same time.
Alternatively, the fitter can connect a mounting rail 4a, 4b with an edge of the cutout 3 and then connect the mounting rail 4a, 4b already assembled with the mounting device 1 and by means of this with a mounting rail 4a, 4b that has not yet been mounted.
The mounting device 1 is preferably designed to be operated with one hand. For this purpose, the mounting device 1 has a handle 14, which is preferably connected to the frame 15 and serves to hold the mounting device 1 and thus also the connected mounting rails 4a, 4b. In a preferred embodiment, which is also shown in the figures, the handle 14 is connected to the frame 15 by means of resilient legs 13a, 13b via the first guide profiles 12a, 12b. In this case, the handle can preferably also serve to loosen and connect the receiving rails 4a, 4b to the receptacles 2a, 2b. By pressing the two legs 13a, 13b of the handle 14, each of which is connected to one of the opposing first legs 12a, 12b, the guide profiles 12a, 12b are pressed away from the profiles 7a, 7b of the second legs 6a, 6b of the mounting rails 4a, 4b and in Exposed in the direction of the second guide profiles 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b, as a result of which the mounting rails 4a, 4b are no longer seated firmly in the mounting 2a, 2b.
Preferably, in the connected state, the receiving rails 4a, 4b in the receptacles 2a, 2b are displaceable in the longitudinal direction. A particularly simple adjustment of the position along the edges of the cutout 3 can thus be achieved.
A mounting system according to the invention includes at least one mounting device 1 and at least two mounting rails 4a, 4b. Alternatively, however, the assembly system can also have a plurality of assembly devices 1. This is particularly useful in the case of very long mounting rails 4a, 4b, since in the case of very long mounting rails 4a, 4b, strong shear forces can arise on the mountings 2a, 2b. A more stable and, above all, more torsionally rigid fastening of the mounting rails 4a, 4b can be achieved in this way.
Alternatively, in a mounting system with only one mounting device 1 for mounting the mounting rails 4a, 4b, the procedure is such that the mounting device 1 is first attached to a common end of the two mounting rails 4a, 4b. The receiving rails 4a, 4b are then attached to the edges of the cutout 3 with this end. The mounting device 1 is now moved along the length of the mounting rails 4a, 4b. A parallel and correctly arranged course of the mounting rails 4a, 4b is automatically established. The mounting rails 4a, 4b can now be connected to the edges of the cutout 3 at regular intervals.
So very long mounting rails can be processed correctly with only one mounting device 1.
The guide profiles 12a, 12b are preferably formed integrally with the frame of the mounting device 1. They are preferably through a connecting web on the side of the mounting device 1 facing away from the suspended wall or ceiling

Patent office linked together. This enables one-handed assembly and in particular one-handed loosening and connection of the mounting rails 4a, 4b to the assembly device 1. In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the connecting web is part of the handle 14.
After the mounting of the mounting rails 4a, 4b on the suspended ceiling or the suspended wall in the region of the cutout 3, the mounting device 1 can be removed by loosening the mountings 2a, 2b. The mounting rails 4a, 4b can then be plastered along the plastering edges 8a, 8b. The drywall trades are now complete. Later reworking after installing the lights is not necessary.
FIG. 2 shows a side view of the mounting device 1 shown in FIG. 1. FIG. 3 shows a top view of the mounting device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
The invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment. In particular, components that deviate from lights can also be mounted using the mounting rails. The use of more than two assembly devices is also conceivable. In particular, delivery of the mounting rails in the connected state with one or more mounting devices is conceivable. All of the features described above or features shown in the figures can be advantageously combined with one another in the context of the invention.
